4.0 out of 5 stars - Well written and informative

Maurice A Williams’ new book, “My Career As A Book Reviewer Defending The Faith” is a collection of book reviews that Williams has written. Each book reviewed incorporates religion, whether through existential questioning by a character, or more directly discussed. Mr Williams is on the side of Judeo-Christian religion and therefore points out the flaws in each book when referring to God, religion or a scientific outlook.
Williams made a career of reviewing books. Somewhere along the line he began to notice a pattern whereby authors were posing questions about God and religion, or showing their characters straying from religious viewpoints. He decided to review these books in many different aspects; he reviewed the writing style, the character development, and plot development and flow, as well as sharing what he believed was missing or incorrect from the viewpoint of a person of religion.
Maurice Williams is a well-spoken (well-written!) reviewer. One can easily tell what the reviewed book will be about and how the story will be told. Whether the reader agrees with his religious point of view or not, one can see that Mr Williams is well-read and intelligent. His reviews are succinct and informative, while also defending the principles by which he lives. He has provided background information where necessary, always provides documentation for his assertions, and adds a personal touch in most reviews.
